Today I went to the Claude Monet immersive exhibit! It was such a great experience, especially seeing how tech (like augmented reality) is present in the arts. I remembered learning about Monet’s water lilies paintings in French classes in middle school. Monet used amazing brush strokes and combined nature into the arts.
In 2021, I went to the Van Gogh immersive exhibit. I really love his paintings the Starry Night and sunflower. Van gogh used such bright and vivid colors to depict his feelings.
What really stood out to me was how the exhibits used tech to really make the visitor feel “immersed” with the paintings. Tech was used to make the paintings come to life and place you inside the paintings. Tech was also used to project your drawings on the exhibit walls (making them look 3D). Below are some pictures:
