Hello my awesome friends!
Yesterday (June 27) was the last day of school! I was super excited for summer break but also sad because some of my kiddos are moving away to another school or state š¦
Nothing feels more bittersweet than the end of the school year. I was so amazed and impressed by my kiddos, how they grew as a person, became such good and close friends with each other, and their progress in school. I watched my reluctant and struggling readers jump up 5-7 reading levels, my shy students speaking in front of the entire class, and the students who did not know any of their peers making friends. Luckily, I am looping with my class for next school year so I will see familiar faces again!
Anyways, cheers to the end of the school year and I hope everyone enjoys their summer break! Get plenty of sunshine, laughter, smiles, and rest! It is a well deserved break for all my teacher friends out there!
